Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We are grateful to all of our volunteers who have shared their time as home visitors for this phase of the campaign. When these individuals contact you regarding the project and campaign, please don’t forget to say “thank you.”
We will be in need of an additional 40 volunteers for the next phase of the campaign beginning in November. When a home visitor contacts you regarding your gift, please tell him or her that you are willing to help out in the next phase. Or you can call the parish and volunteer your time to make visits. This will entail a couple of hours of your time per week for four or five weeks. Personal visits are the best approach since it affords an opportunity to explain the importance of building a St. John Paul II perpetual adoration chapel, the church renovations, and the campus expansion. This also allows people to ask questions in a casual atmosphere. Our goal is to involve a large number of volunteers so that no one has to take on too much.
The campaign will be conducted in various phases through the end of January. Before conclusion of the campaign, all parishioners will have an opportunity to participate. The actual number of individuals visited will depend upon the number of volunteers we are able to recruit. Our goal is to personally visit as many parishioners as possible.
God Bless you abundantly through Mary,
Fr. Parker
