This week we celebrated the Immaculate Conception of Mary who was visited by the Angel Gabriel, a messenger from God. He said, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus.” Mary trusted in what the Angel was sharing with her and said yes.
This story reminds me that our volunteers who are visiting with you have also been sent as messengers. They are sharing the capital campaign information and answering questions. We are asking you to open up your heart and to say YES in continuing God’s work here at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Even if you are unable to financially support the campaign, you can still say YES by praying for the success of the campaign.
We have received several questions regarding the third phase of the project – The Campus Expansion. This addition to the CECC building is not to add additional classrooms to increase school enrollment but to finish what was started over 10 years ago by completing the CECC building with a kitchen / cafeteria, a Chapel, a Music Room for Choir / Band / Orchestra, and Language Arts Room for Spanish / Art. A campus expansion would better serve both the school and ministry groups who currently utilize shared space and allow for our other ministries to meet, grow, and serve the Lord along with the community of Holy Cross.
