Campaign FAQ’s:
Why is my request different from my fellow parishioners? This campaign seeks gifts of equal sacrifice, not equal amounts. The aim is to challenge donors, in accordance with their ability, to consider a sacrificial gift. Proportionate giving is the basis for one of the principles of stewardship.
Why have I not yet been visited? Our hope and expectation is to personally make contact with our entire parish family, all 3,100+ households. However, we are limited by the number of volunteers who are making these visits and the challenge of reaching fellow parishioners due to disconnected numbers or unreturned calls. We are truly sorry if a campaign volunteer has not yet contacted you; they are working hard at reaching everyone. Above all, we ask for continued prayers for the success of the campaign.
Will school enrollment be increased? No, we have a cap on enrollment for the school. Next year we will have waiting lists for several of the grades. The expansion is to complete what was in the initial building plans by adding a room for art, music, and a cafeteria along with other storage/meeting spaces. Details of the project can be found in the brochure you received when meeting with a campaign volunteer. If you have not yet been contacted, please call the office and we can set up a meeting to share additional details of the project.
Let us celebrate the gift of a Catholic education both in the school, the religious education program, and the home-schooling group. And let us join together to help finish what was started over 10 years ago in the Catholic Education Community Center (CECC). We are 59% towards the overall $4.9 million goal. With everyone’s help, we will be able to fund all three projects. Our volunteers continue to work hard at contacting fellow parishioners to share details of each project. If you are able to volunteer your time to be a campaign visitor, please come to one of our volunteer meetings on Monday nights at 6:30 PM in Room 203. Training will be provided.
