Jesus said to the crowds: "I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will
live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world." (JOHN 6:51-58) As we continue in ordinary time, we listen and learn
how the body and blood of Christ gives us eternal life. Every day, we should strive to live in the footsteps of Christ and humble ourselves to let the word of the Lord fully immerse us as we continue on our faith journey
together.
As we plan for our upcoming fall campaign – Give Back to the Lord in Thanksgiving – I would like to invite you to learn more about each of the projects. Informational forums on the perpetual adoration chapel building, church renovations, and campus expansion will be held on
Monday, August 27 and Thursday, August 30 at 6:30 PM in Donovan Hall. If you have some interest in the work to be done, please consider attending one of these two meetings regarding this project.
This project is vital to our parish. It will require our prayers, volunteerism and financial support. Because of your continued love of and commitment to our parish, I am confident we will be successful. Working together we can make this happen!
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us! St. John Paul II, pray for us!
God Bless you abundantly through Mary,
Father Jim Parker
